Living Fabrics Lab
The Living Fabrics Lab sits at the intersection of textile fabrication, biodesign and material science to enhance sustainability in fabric production, while transforming textiles that are responsive and programmable.
Our group, led by Charlotte Werth takes an interdisciplinary approach to examine materiality, morphology, scale and living matter - integrated to her research into garments dyed with bacteria and co-designing textiles with bacteria.
