We believe that it is our responsibility to ensure the broadest community possible has access to the creative arts and STEAM opportunities: and run a range of creative and engaging events across schools, community centres and festivals in and around London.
Supporting the National Curriculum for Science, Design and Technology tailored to key stages 2-5, we offer students and educators research-grade STEAM education facilities and workshops supporting a wider vibrant programme connected to schools locally.

Lifefabs Institute courses and workshops cover a wide array of disciplines and skills that together reflect the state of the art in biodesign and biotechnology.
Our one-off workshops can provide a range of low-floor (not requiring advanced knowledge) and high-ceiling (enabling open-ended learning) activities that engage the broader public, to build awareness, and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of biotechnology and biodesign topics. While our accredited courses support and bridge local residents to higher education pathways (Extended Professional Qualifications), they also provide world-class training to researchers who have gaps in their knowledge, where reliance on expensive graduate training is a barrier to participation.
